International Sales Manager

Specific Tasks:

  • Contributing to the overall corporate strategy and recommendations for new products and product improvements as well as opening up new market segments and regions for existing products
  • Development of market strategies based on continual market and competitive analyses, especially development of new regions and possible business areas. Evaluation of market requirements and trends in product development
  • Preparation of planning data; responsibility for the implementation of the objectives in the market, P&L responsibility, effective controlling of sales targets and results
  • Expansion of existing customer relationships and new customer acquisition in cooperation with local/regional distributors
  • Central management of sales network with our foreign subsidiaries and gke-distributors
  • Conducting of scientific lectures, seminars and training courses
  • gke representation at institutions of the national health service, with opinion leaders and in industry. Demonstrating the problem “sterilization” and possible solutions through lectures
  • Travelling time: 40-60%

General requirements:

  • Computer knowledge
  • Independent work habits and rationalization of workflows
  • Creativity, to solve new tasks
  • Result-oriented
  • Non-smoker
  • Driver's licence

Specific requirements:

  • University degree in a technical and/or medical (health care) profession
  • Several years of experience in the medical device industry, preferably partly abroad
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken and written)
  • Experience in English presentations
  • Independent working style identifying problems and finding solutions
  • Extensive organizational skills
